John Cardinal Wright Vocations Mass
& Awards Dinner
The Ninth Annual John Cardinal Wright Vocations Mass was held August 21st, 2011 at 4:30pm. This year, the Vocations Mass was celebrated at Saint Juan Diego Parish at St Mary's Church, in Sharpburg, PA. We would like to thank the parishioners of Saint Juan Diego parish and especially the pastor, Fr. Michael Decewicz for sharing the beautiful St. Mary's Church for our celebration.
Again, we were honored to have in attendance, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, (BLS'67), Bishop David A. Zubik, (honorary class of '67) and the seminarians and faculty from St. Paul's.
The Awards Dinner followed the Mass at the Pittsburgh Field Club, in Fox Chapel. Cocktails and Hors d'ouvres began at 5:30pm, and a buffet dinner started at 6:00 pm.
Cardinal DiNardo delivers another interesting and thought provoking homily.
