2009 John Cardinal Wright Vocations Mass
The Seventh Annual John Cardinal Wright Vocations Mass was held on August 23th, 2009 at 4:00pm. This year, the Vocations Mass was held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, in the "strip district" in Pittsburgh PA. The Principal Celebrant was Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, class of 1967. Concelebrants included Fr. Frank Almade, ('71), Fr. Greg Brown, ('72), Fr. Joe Scheib, ('68), Fr. Dave Schorr, ('65), Fr. Lou Vallone, ('65), and Fr. James Garvey, Pastor of Most Holy Name, and Fr. Harry Nichols, Pastor of St Stanislaus Kostka Parish. Steve Byers, ('71) was Deacon, and Mike Wallisch ('71) and Angelo Spagnolo ('72) served as Lectors.

The Seventh Annual John Cardinal Wright Awards Banquet was August 23th, 2009 at 6:00pm. This year, the Awards Banquet was held at Mitchell's Restaurant & Banquet Center, Downtown Pittsburgh PA 15219. Mitchell's was established in 1906, and is pittsburgh's oldest and finest restaurant.
