The Sixth Annual John Cardinal Wright Vocations Mass was held on August 24th, 2008 at 4:00pm. The Vocations Mass was held at St Mary of the Mount Church on Mount Washington. After the Mass, The John Cardinal Wright Awards Dinner was held at The Monterey Bay Fish Grotto.

At this year's awards dinner, a special award was given, The Fr. Joseph E. Henry S.J. Award. Fr. Henry was instrumental not only in the initial formation of the Bishop's Latin School Alumni Association all those many years ago, but also in it's revitalization in recent years. His endless hours of enthusiasm and dedication to the Alumni Association are legendary. It is fitting that the recipient of this award be someone whose dedication to the Alumni Association has been extensive, endless, and unparalleled.
