The Seventh Annual John Cardinal Wright Vocations Mass was held on August 23th, 2009 at 4:00pm. The Vocations Mass was held at St. Stanislaus Kostko Church on Pittsburgh's "strip district" After the Mass, The John Cardinal Wright Awards Dinner was held at Mitchell's Restaurant and Banquet Center in downtown.

At this year's awards dinner, a special award was prsented, The Fr. Joseph E. Henry S.J. Award. Fr. Henry was instrumental not only in the initial formation of the Bishop's Latin School Alumni Association all those many years ago, but also in it's revitalization in recent years. Tony has been President of the Alumni Association for the past several years. His dedication to the Alumni Association and the church are extraordinary. It is again fitting that the recipient of this award be someone whose dedication to the Alumni Association has been extensive, endless, and unparalleled.
